Captain Randall Scott Hines is a Certified Captain with both the USCG (United States Coast Guard) and IGFA (International Game Fish Association).

Captain Scott is licensed as a Master of Steam or Motor vessels of up to 100 gross tons, has an Able Seaman accreditation and is certified in First Aid, CPR and Heartsaver AED.

Captain Hines is also the Owner of the Homer, Alaska Charter Fishing Company "FISH-ON ALASKA" and Owner/Captain Of Homers Finest 6 Pack Boat

"My dad took me fishing in Marina Del Rey, California on a local boat when I was a little kid and on my first trip, I caught more and bigger fish than anyone else on the boat, including the crew."

From that day forward, fishing became "what I was born to do" and at the age of 8, had a sponsorship from Shimano Reels and a new nickname, "Golden Arm".

Since then, he has spent many years working on fishing boats and in the water with his own boat fishing throughout California.

He then started fishing big tuna, marlin, Dorado and Wahoo in Mexico, Costa Rica and the long range boats before ultimately coming to Homer, Alaska to begin his Charter Fishing Guide business.

Recently, he purchased the the Homer six-pack boat "The Rebel" and the boat will be running fishing trips throughout the Cook Inlet in the current and upcoming fishing season.
